How Our Garden Grows…
The fruits of our garden are many and varied, but the children remain my favorite crop– each one a unique variety with unlimited potential for growth. Following the principals of the original family farms, we believe that children are highly valued contributors to the success of our farm. They are natural born harvesters and care givers, instinctively sensitive to the needs of each animal and crop.
While many hands make light work, children also have incredible imaginations with the ability to create fun in any farm chore; my job is notably more enjoyable when I’m working alongside them. Children are the seeds of our future, and I hope to inspire future organic gardeners and food advocates in each and every one I meet.
