Community Supported Agriculture…
… is a partnership between our farm and the people who eat our produce. This relationship is maintained though the sheer transparency of our operation; our food is grown in a responsible manner that everyone can see and take part in.
How does it work?
The farmers, volunteers and lots of children plant a lot of seeds and make sure they grow into healthy, vibrant crops. CSA members buy a share of our harvest prior to the growing season. This advance income allows our farm to purchase necessary seeds and supplies. Each week during the growing season, members will pick up their share at the Farm Store Stand.

What can I expect?
Each week from mid-April until mid-November there will be a range of fresh veggies and fruits harvested. You will receive a share filled with as much variety and quantity as conditions allow. Our earliest harvest is mostly green– meaning lettuces, leafy greens, peas and some herbs. As the growing season progresses, the color and availability broaden to a full rainbow spectrum… purple carrots and potatoes!? That’s right! While we aim to provide food that you may be familiar with, we also hope to introduce you to rare and heirloom varieties that you may have otherwise never known.
Is there a working share?
Yes! While we welcome everyone to come and help out on the farm, we do offer both partial and full working-share options. If you are interested, contact our Garden Manager.
Where do I get my food?
We have on-site pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Farm Store Stand from 3 to 6 PM.
What‘s in a share?
We offer two share size options. A Family Share is intended for a family of 4 that eats between one and two veggies each meal– or for two people eating a primarily vegetarian diet. If you are only a single person or couple, you may want to consider our Single Share. This may also be a good place to start for a family that is not accustomed to creating dinner menus with in-season produce.
Shares will vary in size and variety from week-to-week depending on the harvest schedule and crop success.
We will have a “Take it or Leave it Table” to allow members the opportunity to trade out less favorable items for something more preferable; however, please remember that you are purchasing a share of a small, sustainable farm and not a weekly grocery delivery.
